What happens if you sit two ambitious IT students at a desk together, with a laptop and a WiFi password? You can't predict what the result will be, only that it'll be both exciting and interesting...

Wouter Twisk (CEO) and Roel van Duijnhoven (CTO) met in 2006 at Eindhoven University of Technology. What began as a study project used by family and friends has now grown into a premium platform that allows small business owners to build a website within 10 minutes. JouwWeb was born, and it's made a name for itself.

After graduating in 2013, Roel and Wouter set their sights on JouwWeb full-time. They rent an office in the bustling Strijp-S in Eindhoven, hire their first employees... and guess what? The student company is rapidly growing into a successful, international website builder. In 2020, JouwWeb will launch its international brother: Webador with the idea of making our website builder and help center available in multiple languages.

This rapid growth has now helped more than 251,000 small business owners worldwide to improve their findability online. Our website builder is now available in no fewer than 11 languages! Our dedicated team of 40 people work every day to help small business owners worldwide build a website they can be proud of.
